Goodbye Patriot Act, Hello USA Freedom Act (irony remains constant)

In the spirit of the 1984 research papers, here’s something salient:

If you haven’t heard, the Patriot Act just expired. No more NSA spying right? Well, Congress is poised to pass the USA Freedom Act (if it hasn’t already been passed at the writing of this post) as a replacement.

Also, in 2014 Professors Gilens (Princeton) and Page (Northwestern) conducted a study that concluded that the United States is not actually a Democracy. Find out what they concluded here.
